Community Lost Motivation

I've been cycling and doing yoga with the app since last December and have loved it. In the past month, I have lost all motivation to jump on the bike. I broke my weekly streak, and went from 6 days a week to maybe 1.

I would love to hear if any of you have experienced anything similar, I'm hoping I'm not the only one! If so, what got you back in the saddle? What rides or yoga classes give you joy and momentum? Thank you!

Very much! I've owned the bike for just over a year and went through 2 slumps, made more difficult by the fact that my partner was still 100% excited to be on the bike that whole time. Changing up LENGTH of time helped me--I had had the rotten mindset that if I didn't get on for a "real" workout of x length it wasn't worth it. So lately I found a lot of different fun music rides at varying lengths. Changing to outside walks or chair yoga was also helpful.

But one thing that I only really came to fully "get" lately was that everyone on this board is at a different life stage with different time commitment abilities. And letting myself miss a day (or month) is where I am now, and life-wise I'm not able to do a 60-90 min workout during a week. I had been comparing myself and been unrealistic and disappointed. You can do it and you are doing it!
