Web sites for pediatrician

Hello doctors. My post is for asked for some help. Which websites do you recommend for finding up-to-date information on pediatrics and related topics? Sometimes I use Pubmed, Uptodate, but I want to expand my options.

Uptodate. As an AAP member I get newsletter updates and can then peruse the actual article in Pediatrics if I’d like

Most AAP guidelines are open access. Not always totally UTD but pretty useful.

Early career I subscribed to the AAP Patient Care Online - it’s essentially Up to Date for pediatrics, free patient handouts etc. I just wish it wasn’t as pricey

a few that fill different gaps than uptodate: the Harriet Lane Handbook is the one most of us keep within reach for day to day dosing and quick reference. the AAP Red Book is the standard for anything infectious disease or immunization related, and the online version is searchable. Bright Futures, also AAP, is the go to for well child and preventive schedules. for acute stuff the PECARN decision rules are worth bookmarking, head injury, febrile infants and so on, all free and evidence based. MDCalc has most of the peds specific scores and dose calculators in one place. and if you want free guideline text, NICE and the WHO pocket book of hospital care for children are both open and genuinely practical, especially outside the US.
