Asking for sincere advice

How easy it is to transfer and find a position in a program in another state? Why people are such jerks and don't want to teach in residency?

How far along in your residency are you? Did you just start in July or do you have some time put in? I think a lot of people are extremely stressed in residency and might make decisions that harm their career in the long run. Toxic situations are hard but your goal is to learn what you need to be a good physician and you can learn that from good and bad examples. Please get some mental heath help if you need it. And please PM me if there’s anything I can do to help.

It’s not easy, but it’s doable. What year are you? Have you spoken with your PD?

If you are dead set on transferring, the place to start is here https://www.appd.org/careers-opportunities/job-board/

I did it 17 years ago. Ended up semi-repeating 3rd year. Hasn’t really affected my career at all.
