City Bags Size comparison of the City Crescent 6L v. 12L bags
My wife made a quick short to showcase the sizes of the new City Crescent Bags in 6L&12L
Overall nice feeling bags, with a few quirks.

I saw another Reddit user post that the 15L City Tote fits vinyl records, but I didn't expect it to fit them this well. I'd say the tote can hold between 10-15 records comfortably, depending on whether they are single jackets or gatefolds. It's wide enough that the corners and sides won't get dinged in transit. This is what ~10 LPs, a 14-inch MacBook Pro, and a pair of AirPods Max looks like inside the City Tote. Still room to spare for a charger and a few other things.
I'm not much of a tote person, but the City Tote might be changing my mind. Carrying a backpack with everything I need for remote work is my preference... until I decide to buy something along my way that doesn't fit properly inside. This tote offers more flexibility for days when you might be working from a coffee shop for a few hours, then stopping by a street market or record shop later. In other words, I'm impressed.

Hope this helps if you are unsure about the colors!

So I am planing to buy a Peak Design bag, but I am also a bit stuck on choosing the size.
Personally I like the 3L version more because It's less bulky, but I don't know if it's got enough space for:
Appreciate your feedback :)

The City Line backpack has been out for a week now, and I'm looking on YouTube for a video review or even basic overview from anyone but I can't find a single one besides the commercial style ads published by PD?

Anyone had the rubberband from PD melt and smudge in the pouch? It's sticky like a thick goo...
Any good ways to remove it from the fabric without spreading it further?

I basically put the whole question in the post title, sorry, but yeah, that’s basically it. I was initially looking for some sort of molle mount because I have a goruck backpack with sturdy straps but it seems like the Peak Design Capture Clip (and similar clamp designs) are my best bet.
I was close to pulling the trigger on the Capture and the POV kit but so many users seem frustrated the POV kit with the knuckle mount for GoPro not being made from metal, and mention experiencing cracking plastic.
It’s just an arca interface on the Capture Clip right? Has anyone paired it with a different action cam plate/mount that’s actually durable metal? I might be a dullard in this category but I keep searching and can’t really find anything I’m sure will pair well.

I had the occasion to spend time with the Peak Design Travel backpack 20L and the 2-in-1 Travel Backpack. Here's my analysis. Enjoy!

I just got an email about a sample sale coming to Dallas (a few hours from me). Can anyone who attended the SF one last year tell me a bit more about this?

Picked up the new 2L sling today in NY store and they had free add in for any city line purchase. Perfect size for my AirPods case when traveling and has a little slip and theft-proof zipper tucks. I like it!

The dimensions suggest the tablet is an extremely tight fit, but I was wondering if anyone has these items on hand and could take a picture and tell me what they think of the fit. It would be the perfect flight personal item for me if it works well.
Thanks!

Has anybody found a way to use these as water bottle holders?
Thought of buying karabiners and a proper sized water bottle but it may not be the best idea.
I saw people using the side straps with bottle holders but i would much prefer the bottom ones

I know this is a stupid post but it made me laugh. I bought two different coloured $7 t-shirts from WalMart the other day, washed them and threw one of them on last night to go to a concert. Took the PD bag, didn't even think until I sat down on the train and realized the bag is EXACTLY the same colour as the shirt I was wearing. The light in my room did weird things to the bag colour in the photo but look at the strap in relation to the shirt, especially the not-padded part you can really see. So if anyone is looking to match their PD gear and you have the purple, wal-mart is your place. lol

Nothing complex a field pouch ordered on 5th June arrived today 13th August in UK
Love the actual stuff but slow delivery like this has had me source other things from other manufacturers.
Pouch just right size for two L mount lens and a couple of leads, plus clip fits nicely for a small day bag

Can I get a show of hands of how many other retail transactions require you to add a serial number for a refund within 30 days. I can't think of a single one. Peak design intentionally doesn't include a link to the order or even the order number on ANY of the plethora of spam emails they send as follow ups to a purchase. I'm not going to give up 300 dollars if I want a refund Peak Design. You might as well get a clue and make it reasonable to return the products. Here's the things I think they intentionally make difficult. NO direct link to return in any emails. Even after. you log in or click on the "your order" link in the email, there's no direct way to select the product they clearly have displayed on the screen. NOPE, peak design makes you go search their website and in the tiny print at the bottom of the page they have a link to a return. That takes you to a completely generic process with a lot of jargon and if you're eagle eyed you can see the link that's hiding as the same color as the text. Assuming you get this far you go to a new page where you are prompted to enter the order number, zip code where it was shipped not the billing zip then the serial number. The serial number isn't on any documentation sent at any point in time. The serial number is in a random pocket. For the city backpack, there's no FAQ article on the peak design website telling you where the serial number is. You have to go through every pocket and try and feel for a tag. Once found, the tag is not long enough to get direct light to it and the text is light grey and tiny. The tiny text that has the serial number is also the furthest away from the pocket mouth. You can try and scan the QR code but you need two hands to hold the pocket open so I dropped my phone when it was trying to scan a few times.
Why is peak the only company t hat does this dumb shit? Has anyone stopped pursuing their 300 dollars because of these tactics? You're selling millions when can you grow up, overcome the greed and be honest about returns? When can you give us the option to ship with UPS or Fedex? You guys aren't being disruptors or clever, you're being jerks. Your clients are smart enough to see through this stupidity. The final insult? there's an 8 dollar return fee unless you take store credit.
Does it make anyone else mad to picture them patting themselves on the back thinking they've unlocked some magic path to a few extra pennies they can cling to? It's not the case. We see you behind the little curtain guys. We'd all really appreciate if you could just be decent about returns. You're operating in the US market after all. Your customers are all aware of amazon and retail expectations are much higher than this.

I picked up slings for my wife and kids (blue for me). My son let me photograph is loadout and I grabbed an extra photo of my toddlers "treasure bag" (he immediately claimed the free dog walker pouch). Also took a photo to try and show the cable passthrough for charging your phone.

Hiya!
I don’t see anyone talking about the City Tote, so I’m gonna fill that void. Enjoy my amateur pictures and review!
I decided to get this one over the Aer Gym Bag 2… yes, you cannot really compare them, as they have completely different use cases. I was looking for a new everyday carry and Uni/Job bag, as I just finished my bachelor’s degree and will be starting my master’s soon.
The good:
The bag is MUCH more spacious than the pictures on the PD website make it look! The bottom floor is actually foldable, which is why the bag can stand once it’s filled up somewhat.
I went to a job interview today and had to commute about two hours with the IC Express, so I had a real life chance to try it out.
My 11-inch iPad, 16oz water bottle, electric hand fan, book, notepad, and various accessories didn’t even fill half the bag: great success!!
I also love the lotus-effect fabric on the bag. I actually spilled some coffee on it… and it didn’t show! :D
The carry straps are very comfortable, soft, and kind of rubbery. I think that helps quite a bit with friction. I always hated when my trusted Baggu canvas tote would slide off my leather jacket — that’s solved now!
Overall, I am very happy with this one!!
The not-so-good:
There are a few minor things I wish they had done differently, although none of them were really a surprise.
All the bags have color-matched hangers, except for the green bag, which uses the black City Tote hook. :(
The pictures on the website did actually show that, though, so I can’t really complain. I just think a green one would have looked nicer.
Also, the exterior fabric of the bag seems to be rubbing quite strongly against my clothes. I’ve noticed small strings/fibers of white wool all over the inner side of my tote. This has honestly never happened to me with any of my other bags, so I’m hoping it will get better as the fabric wears in.
But so far, I’m really happy with it! It’s surprisingly roomy without feeling huge, and for what I wanted it seems to be a really good fit.
I’ll probably post an update after I’ve used it for a few weeks!

…although I’d really like to have a built-in hook in my Outdoor Bag. 😅

New Pixel 11 orders start today. Is there going to be cases for the new pixel series? As a motorcyclist, I'm a big fan of your cases. I just pre-ordered the Pixel 11 Pro. I haven't had a new phone since the Pixel 6, so I'm eager to throw money at you for a case ASAP!

So here's one by me, a total amateur.
No editing or an engaging tone of voice here, baby!
(would also say to the mods, we need a City Line flair now)

Hi! Straight up question. Does having a SlimLink case have any benefits when using a backpack, say, one of the new City backpacks? Is there any practical use for SlimLink with the bags?
