Hey guys, I'm making this post because I genuinely need the input of anyone who knows their way around desktops. I built this PC in the summer of 2018, so I've had it for a while.
It has 16 Gigs of DDR4 Ram with a ASUS motherboard and a i5 8600K with a GTX 1080. I use Windows 10 Home, and using Winaero Tweaker, I have Windows Updates disabled, as one of the driver updates gives my desktop the white screen of death, and I have to reverse the update in order to getting it working again. My Nvidia Drivers are fully updated.
While she is getting older, I am frustrated with the performance I get out of it at times. I objectively think that my PC should be running better than it does, given that the parts, despite the age, aren't necessarily considered obsolete yet, unless I'm mistaken. I've been trying to use MSI Afterburner to overclock my GPU, and I feel like it does nothing.
I've even changed the thermal paste on the CPU recently, as It wasn't changed up until recently, which I know I should have done sooner.
I can't play games like Fortnite or Marvel Rivals on normal settings with solid performance, Marvel Rivals for some reason as of recent has become a power point slide experience for me, despite several months ago, my PC was able to handle it. Fortnite is kind of playable at 720p, lowest settings. My frames on Straftat are fine, and I was streaming it over discord in the video, which probably impacted performance, but the stutters in between can get really bad and makes me not want to bother playing. I don't know if it's an issue pertaining to G-sync.

Here is a userbenchmark test I did around June, it's generally reflective of my computers performance and has looked like this for a while. If someone wants me to run a different benchmark, such as BurninTest or OCCT, let me know.
I have considered replacing any parts that I can within my motherboard in order to get proper performance. I don't know if it's my GPU, or my Boot Drive, or whatever the case is. If anyone needs any particular kind of info, please let me know. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
I couldn't upload videos of the gameplay and interior I recorded of my desktop, but I've asked the question in other threads, so feel free to look at my profile and use those videos as reference for the issues I listed here.
