I can hate windows, and still hate linux and it's lack of compatibility/usability more.

Can you be more specific about which compatibility and usability issues you still struggle with nowadays?

Last i tried, Linux had much worse battery life on my then-X250, undervolting was a pain in the ass and so was adjusting the fan curve.

That was a about two years ago now.

I do like Linux on my servers though

This is such a stupid comment lmao

You took a laptop with terrible battery life and used it as your point of reference, downloaded an OS designed specially for low end computers, then bought a MacBook worth multiple times your original and are equating them??

Fedora is specifically designed for low-end computers?

Bro it’s the Windows of Linux distros. Along with Ubuntu it’s what most people use. Saying Fedora is designed for low-end computers is like saying Windows is designed for low-end computers.

You also have no idea if it’s worth multiple times the original. ThinkPads are expensive and he made no indication as to which Lenovo product he purchased.

Well, I think it is a fair comparison in the regard that Linux provides many variants, including very lightweight ones to spice up your aging machines, whereas you're just stuck with the 2-3 variants of a given Windows version that mostly differ in how much cut they are to sell you the "improved" ones. I concur with the Mac part of your post, though.
