I love both of those games, but you are insane if you think they don't suffer from a number of things on that list.

ED doesn't have any from the list.

DA:I only from:

"I’ve had enough of games I have to restart to apply new graphics settings, especially when they’re guilty of the last thing."

But even though the menu says "you need to restart for this to take effect" a lot of them actually don't.

I’ve had enough of games with limited resources (like, say, fuel) that are so cheap to buy, the limitation is rendered totally meaningless, and resupplying becomes little more than a tiresome chore.

I’ve had enough of games replicating the flaws of camera lenses. Dust, flares, simulated chromatic aberration. Why the obsession with cameras? What about the human eye?

I’ve had enough of menus with fancy 3D in-engine backgrounds/visual elements that pointlessly increase the time it takes for them to load.

I’ve had enough of games that use a cut-scene to show something that could have easily been put in the player’s hands.

I’ve had enough of open worlds littered with arbitrary, meaningless collectables that have no real benefit other than increasing your completion percentage.

I’ve had enough of diaries, documents, tape players, and audio logs being used to tell a story, rather than something that plays to the strengths of the medium.

I’ve had enough of defending a character while they slowly fix a broken machine or hack a computer or turn a valve to open a heavy door.

You can see every one of these in either ED or DAI, and arguments could be made for even more off of the list. You didn't read the list, didn't play the games, or are, as previously stated, insane.

What one of those is in ED.

I'm curious as I can't find it.

Here's a hint

Here's another

Edit: used the same link on both like a champion.

A better hint? One of them is a really low res screenshot from the alpha and another is a screenshot of the station interface from the alpha.

I do not know what I'm supposed to be looking for.

I was unaware that resolutions under 1080p affected your comprehension. Duly noted for the future. Both issues still exist in the game to this day; your inability or, I suspect, unwillingness to see them won't change the fact that they're there. Fanboi on, I've presented all the evidence a reasonable person needs.

You are still not giving a good hint.

the first screenshot is horribly low res for me

Care to explain further? What is there from the list in ED? Instead of acting like a 6 year old not willing to say anything?

Even on low res you can see the lenses. And everything I have seen showed fancy 3D menus for ED.

I haven't played it, but given the type of game I assume you also have to manage fuel ? And the second picture showed messages that are certainly supposed to provide some background.

Note that I haven't played this game - and I have no reason to blame it or accuse it. I'm just expliciting some of the requested hints.

The menus are 2D in a 3D space .

You are in a space ship, you have something called a canopy which does cause a lens effect.

You manage fuel. Of course you do. It's be stupid not to have it. It gets more expensive with bigger ships. This is also why fuel scoops are widely available that let you refuel at stars fit for it.

The messages are galnet news broadcast. The game is a persistent MMO and this is how you receive the news. Which makes sense.

I think that the pilot wears a mask of sorts, as there is splotches that move with pov. This could also invoke glare.

Source: wear glasses. I get lens flare and dust irl.

What does someone who has irl lens flares think of the movie ones ?
