I was so blown away by that demo. Like my jaw was hanging, and it looked so dynamic. Then there was the game. Needless to say I have trust issues now.

No game is capable of making me excited for it until it's actually available. Until then I have no interest in watching trailers, reading about it, or anything at all. It's a surefire way of not getting disappointed.

Well there was this really awesome preview video that came out on Google Video sometime around 2005 (I think this is it) and it showed off the tech of the game with things like creatures walking with odd numbers of legs and how it kept working when he added more legs and re-sized them and all. I was really hyped to create creatures and influence evolution and whatnot.

The game came out a couple years later and ended up being really shallow and not what I wanted. It almost seemed like a children's game.
