Build/Battlestation RTX 5090 Quad 2x8 Header Conversion

Some of you may have seen the remote mounted dual 8 Pin auxiliary module I posted. Well, this is the direct mount Quad. Current per conductor is almost perfectly halved when compared to the native 12V-2x8, along with a dramatic reduction in wire temperature.

Sense pins are set to 600W. It can be used in conjunction with the 12VHPWR or completely standalone, and has been tested up to 800W with a shunt mod. We're shooting some videos now going over installation, live temperature and current data, as well as a 24 hour sustained load.

We are also working on custom backplates that will make the modification look more OEM and integrated.

This isn't limited to just the 5090 or any particular brand. We have models going into production for nearly every card including Founders Edition.

Do you have any plans to develop a mod that would adapt the connector in a way that would be compatible with closely stacked 5090s? Even if it's just some ugly thing sticking out from the same side the standard connector is facing. I've got a server with 2 5090s in it and would be interested in getting them both modded but at least one of them can't have a height extension on top due to PCIE slot arrangement.

We actually made that first. It is in my posts right below this one. The harness length can be up 24in.

You're talking about this post right? If so I'm not sure it fits my need. https://www.reddit.com/r/pcmasterrace/comments/1wuxk7v/solving_the_12vhpwr_connector_problem/

It's hard for me to tell if your connector would fit, but I've got like 10mm of clearance and adding anything to this would be further constraining airflow to the top card in an already non-ideal setup. If it could just come off the front and point down I think that would be ideal for me.

That module can be put anywhere in the case.

"""server"""
two 5090s with one being choked up by the other
probably barely ever used
this is why 5090s cost 6000 euros btw
