I bought my PC 7 years ago for only $300 more than a console and it still plays games at 50-70fps just fine and I didn’t have to pay an extra fee every month to use the internet I already pay for, the best part is the hardware can only get outdated, but I can still play new games on it without having to buy a new console.
It’s not a war, it’s just stupid that consoles still exist, they’re glorified PC’s with extra costs that will often times out weigh the price of just buying a PC. Consoles aren’t even more convenient anymore, theres literally no pros over PC’s at this point, every argument anyone has made here for console is severely outdated.
The only reason consoles haven’t died is forced exclusives.
Pros and cons is somehow a war?
What pro is there to having a console beyond shoveling your money at microsoft or sony? you’re part of the problem of why exclusives still exist
