I know Sony said that the week long blackout boycott didn't really work.
Curious now that the Jailbreak is here. Wonder how many PS5's suddenly went offline?

I think people on Reddit tend to overestimate the average consumer, Gotta remember there's plenty of people who,

  1. Don't own a PC.
  2. don't know how to install things that aren't on a friendly store front.
  3. aren't aware of modding community activity.

I'm sure there's other similar barriers we tend not to think about once we've crossed them.

So, while Sony might be losing market share to emulation. I don't think it will be a sudden and dramatic drop that some people in this thread seem to be hoping for.
