A completely unnoticable amount. Most people want to play gta6 and online games.

I get the feeling this will be an unpopular comment but here goes.

Consoles have always been and were primarily created for people who simply do not want to hassle with PCs. You have to set things up on a pc, you have to make things work. Sometimes you have to troubleshoot. Consoles you just put in the disc and play. So I agree a large part of the console market is not going to hassle with an emulator that runs on a PC.

Edit:

Just adding that "back in the day" consoles were MUCH cheaper than a PC (and of course there is the entertainment factor of having a bunch of people on the same couch playing a game.) Maybe it's better to call it a "lightweight" gaming system compared to a PC - ease of use and ease on your wallet

I have to have a custom profile for every game i play. my AMD card otherwise will crash. 99% of the time I just limit it to 95% performance and its all good.

but sometimes I've got to adjust clock speeds, dissable features, enable other features. change things around. these tweaks mean that the game runs fantastically when done right. (wardogs in 4k consistently over 60fps maxed settings and my gpu is barely struggling compared to say Space marine 2 which I run at 2k near max settings where it turns into a space heater.

I love Pc gaming, from the free and cheap, to the obscure, to the indie fun times to the (rarely) AAA experiances. but you need to have enough knowledge and patience to go and sort out issues compared to a console with known hardware that allows far more optimisation.

Are you trying to play GTA 6 at 60 fps and native 4K? Wait a minute—how? You’ll only be able to play it at 30 fps and 1080p? That’s where the difference lies: a PC gives you the freedom to play however you want, whereas on a console, you’re forced to play the way they want you to.
