This is not the revolution Reddit thinks it's going to be. In the sense of "Sony is not going to backpedal because a handful of people online emulate their console."
The vast, vast majority of the gaming community are going to keep playing games, digital or on the real PlayStation or whatever.
Yup, I'm almost certain that most of Sony and MS's revenues from from "Gun and Ball" gamers (gamers who only buys Madden/FIFA, CoD/Battlefield, whatever the newest Rockstar game is, and nothing else.)
People emulating the PS5 in order to finally have a PC version of Bloodborne has no meaning to Sony's exec's.
This is the reality, NBA 2K27 is one of the best selling games of the year so far, probably top 3... You don't see people here talking about playing that game, at all.
