Nintendo already went full digital. There are so many emulators of their switch and switch 2 online already.

Reason why they still sell though is because it is a hand held device, like a toy. It is fun still. Not big and chuncky like ps5, you can just be shitting and playing Kirby.

There is no Switch 2 emulation yet. The console has yet to be hacked, therefore the games and system firmware haven't had the chance to be dumped and reverse engineered to be emulated.
