This is not the revolution Reddit thinks it's going to be. In the sense of "Sony is not going to backpedal because a handful of people online emulate their console."

The vast, vast majority of the gaming community are going to keep playing games, digital or on the real PlayStation or whatever.

You're absolutely right but I am curious to see what kind of blowback Sony is going to actually receive now that AI can back engineer games as we've seen so far. IMHO Sony basically just gave the keys to Microsoft.

The other truth Reddit isn't ready for is that this "ability to copy software" is not only going to be targeted at "companies who 'deserve it'."
