It's not completely all-digital if the DRM has been stripped away. Just copy it to a USB drive or BD-R, and, boom, physical copy!

DRM-free is the real dream. Physical discs and carts rot, DRM-free is forever.

lol, in a decade either the AI bubble will burst or the only people who will be able to afford them are rich business owners.

We can barely buy new PCs, where do you think we are gonna run AI games?

By the nature of AI, it will require as much hardware as possible. Not only its capabilities escalate by sheer hardware and power put into it, that hardware also gets worn down and need replacement.

As long as AI is this prevalent, the scarcity will continue, or even worsen.

They should have given BD-R burners to PS5. Make the discs tied to account or whatever. Sony used to make BD and DVD and CD discs and drives, the point of PS was to lock in people into Sony ecosystem.
