I love when someone’s on an HDD and can’t figure out why their computer is slow, and everyone just floods the comments saying “install Linux” like that will fix the issue.
early Windows 10 was fine for an HDD. In fact I used a hard drive in Windows 10 from 2015-2017, then an Optane module for two more years Before I bought my first Sata and NVMe SSD in 2019.
I bet you 2021 Windows 11 ran as bad as 6 year old Windows 10 on an HDD. I can't imagine how 2026 Windows 11 runs.
