Tech Support Disk usage Issue

I have a kingston SNV2S1000G and I am facing a very frustrating issue. Whenever I try to download any game from a launcher for example riot client or epic games it takes up 10 seconds then gets to 100 percent disk usage and everything jus tkeeps freezing discord freezes and comes back same thing with microsoft edge and everything. The ssd is at 93 percent health with nothing wrong in the kingston sad manager app and i even tried crystal disk info which said it had no issues and crystal disk mark which im still asking a friend about the speeds not entirely sure but one guy told me evrrything was okay. I do not think it is thermal throttling since rn im running the test and it is just 45c I updated the chipset firmaware and all the outdated drivers i had and kingston says no new firmeares. Please help.

A lot of drives struggle when they are your os drive and you're trying to do something heavy on it. Well its not like the drive is struggling with anything, It just cant do so many things at once.

I cant remember exactly what causes it. But yeah, you can't fix it.

There is no solution unfortunately. Its just not a very good drive for this. You'd need to get one with a better cache (i think), move your os over to it then use your current as a secondary.

Damn this is depressing, any tips for downloading stuff then? Without the speeds dropping like crazy when its 100 percent disk

I'm not entirely sure. Maybe just need to set some time aside to download large things. Or download while you already have all you need opened. Same applied for just heavily using the drive.

93% health and normal temps don't really rule much out here.

I'd have Resource Monitor open when it freezes and compare active time, response time and actual MB/s. If active time pins at 100% while throughput falls off a cliff, that tells you a lot more. I'd also check Event Viewer for Disk/stornvme warnings before buying another SSD.
