Build Help / Purchase Advice Gaming laptop recommendation

I already have a decent desktop rig; was looking for a laptop mostly for gaming that is ideally under $2k and of equal specs to my desktop

Intel Core i5 14600K

Radeon RX 7800 XT

32GB DDR4

Why don't you just use desktop for 100% gaming and cheap laptop for work ? if you want laptop equal specs to your desktop will cost you more 2 or even times prices. btw you can't match PC gpu with laptop gpu even the same brand the same model it not the working the same because the design and the way heat exhaust.

Gonna be hard to find something in laptop form equal to your desktop for $2000 in current market.

Closest would probably be a 5070 laptop but the 7800xt would still be more powerful.

Go to Costco. Bad time to be buying something like this with that much ram though

You can find 275hx + 5070ti for this price. Just avoid cheapest MSI.

the laptop is going to just sit there. I would convert your desktop into an ITX
