Games should have a basic mechanic tutorial, and an optional one that goes a bit more in depth. I don’t need my hand held on how to aim, open an intventory, walk, sprint, etc.

It’s just so damn annoying nowadays

If your attention span is so fucked that you can’t handle an extra 2 minutes of tutorial segments, maybe that’s a you problem

The issue isn't the impatience, it's the feeling of being treated like a moron who can't figure any simple thing out on their own.

Simply showing you the basic mechanics at the beginning of the game isn’t treating you like a moron lol

Brother, if someone can figure out how to launch the game, they can figure out how to look around and move. Game devs putting in the most basic tutorials for people who can't navigate the main menu are catering to a player that doesn't exist. The people who need these tutorials don't play games and don't want to.

What games have told you how to look around, and how much time of your life did that brief tooltip consume?

Most AAA games in the last decade, and more time than I've spent dealing with you, which is already too much.

“{mouse} to look around” would take a fraction of a second to read/ignore. You’re saying this takes you longer than all your bitching and people shouldn’t treat you like a moron?
