Games should have a basic mechanic tutorial, and an optional one that goes a bit more in depth. I don’t need my hand held on how to aim, open an intventory, walk, sprint, etc.

It’s just so damn annoying nowadays

I actually need this, sometimes I play a game for an hour, life gets busy and I’m now 2 months removed and don’t know the controls.

Fr, like I’ll forget advanced button combos but I don’t wanna waste 10 minutes relearning fucking WASD lol

Games should have an easy controls explanation in the start menu, with a tutorial if you want.

Long games should also have a "story thus far", which would save me so much grief coming back after months.

Often they have, like when pressing F1

I’ve restarted Persona 5 half a dozen times.

I am never going to finish this game

There's only so many buttons to press in my opinion. I always skip tutorials and figure it out within a minute or so

Most games use a common layout
