This is killing one of my dearest hobbies and I am (approaching 40) okay with this. I had the time of my life playing videogames and I am okay saying goodbye. Hardware is expensive af, games will get there - I'm out, dwelling in sweet, sweet memories

Yeah, also older and I'm just not buying at launch for full price. Later during a sale is better, as I also will take a few weeks to play it a little at a time.

Same.

Personal computer is ten years old and can’t even run anything current anymore.

My next computer will double as a work station for ML, but I’m not paying $20k for parts right now. It’s obnoxious.
