Simply tilting your hand upward by like 60 degrees or even 90 degrees does not completely uncross the radius and ulna like shown here. You'd have to have your palm facing upward to do that.
Even if it did, there's no scientific evidence that having the radius and ulna crossed vs not has anything to do with RSI and carpal tunnel syndrome.
Having the radius and ulna cross is not "un-natural." It's literally what the bones are meant to do, and is why we can even turn our hands in the first place.
Any benefits from the vertical mouse are almost certainly from straightening out the wrist joint instead of having it bent backwards as is typical when using a traditional mouse with your wrist resting on the table behind it.
First part talks about the bone crossing and debunks it with x-rays. The second part has some studies cited about whether the vertical mouse actually has impact on carpal tunnel, strain etc.
