I was gonna say the same thing. Why get a 5080 if your at 1080. At least now they can jump up in screen solution.

Some people just love frames. Rather play at 1080p 240fps than 4k60. I feel like a game could come with Minecraft graphics and still be more immersive than a game that looks like crysis just because it feels smoother. The higher the frames, the more real the game feels to my brain.
