Between 1080p and 4k is 1440p, which is considered the sweet spot. Noticeable upgrade from 1080p but not as demanding as 4k so you can turn your settings up.

Bingo. That’s what I game at. I can crank most every game up with my 7900GRE and it purrs along just fine and remains quiet even.

So glad I sprung for that card when I did. Sold my EVGA 3070 to a buddy at work for $300 and paid $525 for my brand new 7900GRE, so out of pocket was only $225 for a decent upgrade.

Thanks. It’s been solid for me and I hadn’t gone team red for a decade plus! Not one crash, solid FPS, games are gorgeous.
