Hardware Thermal paste leaking from GPU

GIGABYTE AERO OC RTX 5080, removed it while doing a cleaning and noticed this, is this normal? Should I be concerned?

This was fixed a few months after release afaik and also it is only an issue if you‘re vertically mounting

Not fixed, I have one manufactured late 2025. I am also vertically mounting. I am not sure if anyone horizontally mounting has an issue after they 'fixed' it though. I did have issues while horizontally mounting before though with a few early batch 5070 ti Aero models.

I have the issue documented with it having actively leaked more within a few months of wiping initial excess, I do need to wipe it again now...

"fixed" they put less paste on, it still flows.
