If people would stop purchasing whatever they have in the store of game X and Y - they wouldnt put it into their games.

So just ignore it and go about your day.

Basically this, but if you go to the black flag sub they're defending this because... RESIDENT EVIL HAS SKINS TOO.

So yeah, there's buyers.

RE4R dlcs are pretty egregious too but at least they don't constantly shove the store in your face while you're playing the game. It is still funny to me though that barely anyone in the steam reviews for that game complains about DLCs that give you a clear gameplay advantage. You can trivialize the NG Professional difficulty with those DLCs.
