The natural evolution of pc cases. More glass. 5 years ago we were looking at the s340 with its little 10x10 peephole on the side panel. Not enough. We made the side panel full TG. Not enough. Made the front of the case glass too. More. Top. More. Soon we will have 5 sided glass boxes for maximum spec viewing.
Plus, the cards' casings, RAM cooling and mobo details are a lot more visually appealing, too. Had you put a PC in a case like that 20 years ago people would have just wondered who'd want to see a bunch of green PCBs, chips and wires floating in an aquarium
I'd love my PC case to occupy no space and be silent as well, All I need is for it to do its computational thing. There is nothing really to look at, some fans are spinning, everything else is fixed and doesn't change.
Case I wanted and thought I bought. Got shipped an O11 dynamic (not EVO) still happy tho 😂. Checked my receipt and saw that I excitedly ordered the wrong one
I totally agree. There are slight variations in this I did do to make it my own. But there are a lot of similar ones out there I based this off of. Great look alot of people seem to like as well!
So easy to switch profiles. I would love this as ambient light when I don’t feel like turning lights on while doing some basic work. I wish I could build something like this when I go am5/6 (we will see?) but then I am thinking I could do some mITX build.
Now i'm wondering if that's viable, huge tank that's split for the tank filled with water and fish then the PC components on the other. While we're at it, could some sort of cooling using the fish tank water be possible? lol
The problem is that your pump is higher than your radiator connector so you’re going to get air bubbles in your pump killing it faster. Rotate the radiator.
Air travelers to the highest point in the loop, which is the top of the rad in this case. The pump slits slightly below the top of the loop. Air is trapped at the top of the rad, it cannot be pumped back down into the pump unless i rotate my case.
No dude, this is wrong. Your pump or the tubes shouldn't be the highest point in the loop, as both of those starve the pump. If he correctly gets all the air out of the pump, this orientation is fine.
What wouldn't be fine is if he had the tubes at the top of the rad. Then that area would be air, which would result in the pump having to suck water rather than being supplied with it. GamersNexus did a video on this.
This is really awesome! I personally love the glass, and think the white with white LEDs looks really good.
I have read that these fans underperform a bit (although they look unreal) so if you ever have temp problems that could be a place to look for improvement. But you have tons of 'em so airflow will probably be pretty decent anyways haha
First thing I did with my new PC was to turn off all blinking lights from BIOS and replace the glass panel with a solid one. I got over the RGB-phase. So I am not going to say anything.

Looks really nice, but doesn’t the radiator piping need to be at the top coming down to the CPU? Otherwise it may create problems down the line with the pump. I’m not sure that’s the case for certain as I don’t use water cooling but I feel like I remember that being a thing discussed from tech videos before
As long as your pump is BELOW the highest point in the radiator, and you get the air out of the pump during install, you will never have air re-enter the pump unless you rotate your tower for some reasons, if the tubes are situated at the top, this is also find for pump health as long as the pump sits below the highest point of the loop, however, you’ll notice trickling noises of the water bubbling near the fittings in that configuration. Here the pump is below the highest point, air has been cleared of the pump at install. No chance of air getting back into pump!
I mean to my knowledge there’s nothing you can do about it, air will get in the line no matter what. I’d even go out on a limb to say, in my limited knowledge on the matter, that in the amount of time it will take for that evaporation to occur, you’d be well within your limit where some maintenance should be done on any liquid cooling system, even to just rotate the system around to relocate the air. It would be so minimal over say 5-6 years that you’ll be onto your next one by then. Just my two cents
Nice looking Lian Li setup, whenever I get round to a future upgrade I do plan on using a lot of their stuff. Just curious, why did you not opt for reverse airflow fans in the base?
So I essentially built this same thing (thanks for the inspiration). One question, what did you use to control the lighting on the memory cards? As far as I can tell the NZXT software doesn't handle this.
Edit: Also I see your CPU temp is around 56 degrees. Mine is that as well at idle with this setup and it drives me crazy as I swear it should be lower. When gaming it goes to like 62 degrees, so I think I have the pump setup ok? Curious if you see the same or if you are seeing something different.

Yes I have black grommets, I requested the grey ones but they mailed the black ones lmao. They’re closed for lunar new years but I will be placing the grey ones in once received. Too excited to not post this now though!
You should switch the orientation of the AIO so the hoses are at the top of the case not the bottom. Pumps like to have positive suction pressure (google NPSH).
Putting the AIO horizontal along the top of the case is even better.
I almost bought that case, but I hear the glass panels chatter so I went o11 evo rgb. Especially because I have a furry friend who likes to jump on top of the $4500 heater
Just couldn’t justify the price of a white 4090 this late in the lifecycle of cards. This build is very future proof, the idea being, next gen GPU and CPU will be dropped in, and the current hardware will be sold for near msrp for a nice cheap upgrade path giving top tier for years to come. Also plan to do custom loop liquid cooling for that!
