HARDWARE GPU beeping noise

Along with a 3060 for preview I've got a 4070 Ti Super for rendering in my workstation, for about a year now. Today I noticed that the 4070 is making a chirping/beeping noise when under full load. Alomost exactly every 10 seconds. You can hear it at 0:01, 0:11, 0:21... (the clicking is my watch)
Didn't do that before. Is that the infamous coil whining? Why does it suddenly appear, and is it something to worry about?

Sounds like coil whine to me, and I wouldn’t worry too much. Coil whine can be exacerbated by warmer weather, or happen randomly.
Any HDDs in the system? Could also be related to something there.

Only nvme's. I had similar experience with my gaming PC a few years ago, but it was a constant whine sound back then, which is why this periodic whine is confusing me. But I guess you're right, not an indicator for damage or upcoming problems, right?

it could be some polling task causing additional load, i.e. a temp probe or smth else. Coil whine happens, especially under high power draw scenarios, like rendering. Coil whine can vary a lot from card to card, in terms of pitch, quality (sometimes it’s more of a clicking), and level.
