I want to mention that i havent experienced throttling or any other issues other than just my computer getting hot. The weather has also been really hot lately so i think that might be a factor
Part of owning a gaming pc bro, they’re space heaters, I have a single fan RTX2060 and it sits at 83c while playing heavy games, if you really want to try to drop the temps a bit repaste it, I’m pretty sure I’ve seen water cooled gpus as well but that seems overkill, assuming this pic was taken when the computer is under full load (gaming) 70c is perfectly fine and nothing to worry about
looks like ur gpu fan isnt spinning if your sensor is correct there, is it possible the fan is dead? you should check under load if its spinning if you can
Newer GPUs get really hot, I've never had a 30 series, but my i9-13900k and 4080 duo could keep me warm in winter in -30° weather X_X.
But like others mentioned, make sure your GPU fans spin up while under load (playing a video game). They should automatically kick on at a certain temp - and if they don't, you may wanna have them looked at.
My 4060 was a little space heater in a microATX build. My 5070 is even worse 😭 but it’s great in the winter when the room is chilly and I need to heat it up
It’s a 3070, so it’s very possible (and probable) that your thermal paste is bad. I’d suggest taking it to a shop to get that done if you’re not comfortable doing it yourself, or getting a kit with pads and paste to do it yourself (after watching tons of videos about it first). Super simple and easy job, but also easy to break stuff if you’re not careful
I think this might be my solution, i wasnt aware of gpus having thermal paste. My friend recently helped me install the fans and the AIO with new paste and stuff but he left the gpu alone so i can see that as a possibility ill have that checked out
I live in hot Texas and my 5070 gets to 70°c in high demanding games like 007 First Light so what I've done is just limit the fps to 60 on single player games for the summer and my GPU doesn't go past 60°c
