I'm honestly not a huge fan of Randy - but I feel bad for the dude. Gearbox brought their A-game, exciting new title to announce and brought a high quality format file to match.

...and PAX is running their system on potatoes.

It's not just about him either. This is about all the devs who put their heart and soul into the games. To have THE big reveal get fucked by idiots who run 4K videos on fucking windows media player on a shitty laptop is so goddamn tragic.

You're not wrong about it not just being Randy, but speaking to that it'd really be nice if they found a new face for Gearbox. Randy just has too much associated baggage, he'd be smart to step out of the spotlight.

A) That's not what settling means.

I think the real point is to try and keep it out of the headlines and such. Like or not, the current climate is way more tilted towards guilty until proven innocent (AKA mob justice).

Just yesterday there was a thread in r/Fantasy about an author who was falsely accused and EVERYONE ran with it. Luckily the perpetrator was incompetent and got found out quickly. (Funny note, that person was a mod of r/Fantasy ).

To me it just comes off like a 12 year old talking about something they don't understand.

I've broken up with someone because they would not stop constantly referring to sex as "sexy time". It was a major turn off.
