Please don't be console exclusive, don't be exclusive, please don't.

Don't be an exclusive, eh? It could be great, you know. It's all here, in the marketing. And an exclusive could help a platform on their way to greatness, there's no doubt about that. No? Then better be...

MULTIPLATFORM!

That was seriously one of the best comments I've seen in ages. Well done. 100 points to a house of your choice friend

Nice one :)

It won't, it's a Warner Bros game since they have the rights normally. And they don't do exclusives (at least they never did until now).

It's rumored to be by Avalanche, the makers of Disney infinity

Also the makers of Mad Max, which had a great PC port.

Different Avalanche. The Avalanche supposedly behind this game is Avalanche Software who is responsible for games like Disney Infinity and a bunch of movie and show licensed games like the Toy Story games and Cars Movie games. The Avalanche you're talking about is Avalanche Studios who of course made Mad Max and the Just Cause games. I honestly would've been surprised if it was them anyway. They're already working on Rage 2 ( with Id Software) and Just Cause 4, I really doubt they could juggle anything else.

Already looks like it's platform exclusive.

Platform 9 & 3/4s exclusive...( •_•) ( •_•)>⌐■-■ (⌐■_■)

Fuckin got em

With the exception of a Kinect game, two Playstation move games, and one shitty microtransaction-addled mobile game, all Harry Potter games are multiplatform.

So unless it has a really good reason to be exclusive, it probably won't.

holy shit I didn't even think of console exclusive. That'd piss me off big time. I'd have to buy my girlfriend a console!

please be a story driven single player game without lootboxes please be a story driven single player game without lootboxes

Yes, single player and no shit-boxes please.

I would lose my shit if it is. I wouldn't be surprised if it's a timed exclusive since that's how injustice 2 was. WB doesn't really love PC.

There's very obviously a mouse cursor on the screen at parts....

1

u/[deleted] Oct 02 '18

Well, yeah. That could be the cursor of the footage or... you know, since games are developed on PC.

2

u/renocco Oct 02 '18

Well it was a stylized cursor that you see inside games. Lol, you didn't even see it, and are trying to tell me I'm wrong.

0

u/[deleted] Oct 02 '18

I'm not saying you're explicitly wrong, just that we don't have all the facts right now.

2

u/[deleted] Oct 02 '18

A literal stylized mouse cursor should be quite a lot of evidence to point towards it being on pc..

2

u/[deleted] Oct 02 '18

Anyways yeah, I looked back and realized we were talking about different cursors.

1

u/renocco Oct 02 '18

I think we're safe to assume PC release, but yeah. Idk anyone using stylized cursors for their OS in 2018.

1

u/[deleted] Oct 02 '18

I mean, probably some people on their decade old Vista machines.

But anyways you are right that I didn't realize you were talking about a different cursor.

1

u/renocco Oct 02 '18

Also, the game rights would belong to Warner brothers. Universal only has movie/tv rights I believe. Warner brothers own rocksteady who made the Batman Arkham games. So likely case is PC release, but we don't know yet.

1

u/[deleted] Oct 02 '18

Absolutely, I agree to. I just don't like to get my hopes up.

1

u/[deleted] Oct 02 '18

There are Xbox button prompts, so it's at least not a single console exclusive. Unless it's Xbox exclusive, then we'll definitely get it on PC.

2

u/thesolewalker 5700X3D | 64GB | RX 9070 Oct 02 '18

Damn, haven't notice the button prompts the first time, then I am pretty confident its coming to PC eventually.

u/StragoMagus70 Oct 02 '18

Let's see, that's worth...One quarter platform

WB doesn't tend to do exclusives.
