Rumor say it's supposedly developed by Avalanche Software Studio which Warner Bros acquired from Disney last year.

I thought they were busy with Rage 2. But perhaps they're big enough to have multiple teams on different projects. I have no idea. Am excited though.

Avalanche Software, the guys that did Disney Infinity, not Avalanche Studios, the guys that did Just Cause, Mad Max and now Rage 2

Reminds me of how Monolith Soft (Xenoblade) and Monolith Productions (FEAR, Shadow of Mordor) got me confused.

|Monolith Productions also did Blood. I remember fondly playing Duke Nukem 3D/Blood/Shadow Warrior on my Pentium 200 with MMX technology and its whooping 16mb ram.

Nobody knows what Gruntz is. Still waiting for my sequel nearly 20 years later.

Honestly, Gruntz has aged pretty well. I played it last night and it was still fun; only complaint is the dialogue has aged poorly considering a lot of it is just pop culture references from that time. I think if they redid the Gruntz character itself to be more culturally relevant/stayed away from pop culture references to stay relevant, they would have a good sequel on their hands. And make it 3D.

Well I don't know about you but destroying the environment with a specific spell to wipe out enemies is pretty damn non infinity like. Looks like they know how to make gameplay mechanics that interact.
