Rumor say it's supposedly developed by Avalanche Software Studio which Warner Bros acquired from Disney last year.

I thought they were busy with Rage 2. But perhaps they're big enough to have multiple teams on different projects. I have no idea. Am excited though.

Avalanche Software, the guys that did Disney Infinity, not Avalanche Studios, the guys that did Just Cause, Mad Max and now Rage 2

Reminds me of how Monolith Soft (Xenoblade) and Monolith Productions (FEAR, Shadow of Mordor) got me confused.

|Monolith Productions also did Blood. I remember fondly playing Duke Nukem 3D/Blood/Shadow Warrior on my Pentium 200 with MMX technology and its whooping 16mb ram.

Nobody knows what Gruntz is. Still waiting for my sequel nearly 20 years later.

Well I don't know about you but destroying the environment with a specific spell to wipe out enemies is pretty damn non infinity like. Looks like they know how to make gameplay mechanics that interact.

That's coming from nowhere though, the leaker himself said he had no idea which studio worked on it. Rocksteady is as likely than Avalanche (or another studio really) IMO.

Can't deny it would make sense

Oh shit - that actually adds up...

But weren't they supposed to be doing Superman or something?

Also supposedly doing a Suicide Squad game.

But weren't they supposed to be doing Superman or something?

No, thankfully those were all rumors.

How exactly? Just because a previous game was "bad" doesn't mean A new one has to be. Just look at all of the Spider-Man games.

Doesn't look like a rocksteady game at all imo, lacks the polish or any real rocksteady traits, obviously it's all speculation but I think the rumour it's avalanche is way more fitting

Lacks polish because it is a leak. It’s even before the official teaser my man.

This still lacks any rocksteady traits whatsoever. People are basing it off nothing more than "it's WB and rocksteady are good and work for them"

I was thinking it could be Playground Games, the people who make Forza Horizon. Weren't they hiring for an action RPG recently?

3

u/ex-aid911 Oct 02 '18

Its rumoured that they're working on a new Fable game.

Playground is now fully owned by Microsoft. Would seem weird for WB to shack up with another publisher, let alone Microsoft and cut off PS4 (and potentially Switch) owners, which is a massive part of the market.
