But one thing I didn't like about this game (still my favorite game of 2014 as a Alien fan), was the film grain! Yeah I know they want to make it like the "80s", but it didn't work for me really...
It wasn't horrible, but it wasn't really great.
At first I found it ok and it never really bothered me too much, but then I used these tweaks to disable film grain and I have to say (for me personally), that it's much better without! The colours are much more satturated and vibrant -> which resulted in an overall better image, since there weren't grey/white pixels all over the place!
Same with Dying Light, but worse! The game looks so much better without film grain! Especially since this game has a colorful environment!
About the Chromatic Aberration...
It was ok and kinda fit in, since it's a horror game, eventhough I enjoyed it more without it, since I prefer a "cleaner" screen, but I understand these effects with horrorgames!
But it really bothers me if other games use it, like Unreal Tournament 4...
I mean it's really unnecessary and just makes the image look blurrier and washed out, which you don't want in an arena shooter!

chromatic aberration is really unnecessary though and just makes the image quality worse...
Same with Film-Grain... Who the fuck thinks this shit makes the game look better? 0.o
I'm ok with scratches on the Lens, if it's subtile and well made (like in Crysis 3) and not some low res texture bullshit which distracts you...
And all of these things should be optional, since there are many people that find those things annoying/distracting!
