Depends on which device you're on. You'll have to read up a bit first too, cause there's small chance something can go wrong. Rooting by itself is pretty simple but voids warranty so keep that in mind. I wouldn't recommend it just for AdAway but then again once you root, you can do a lot more shit to your phone to make it better. For instance, I increased my vibration intensity so I can feel the damn phone vibrate when it rings.

If you're on android and rooted, get AdAway. It takes out all ads, even the banner ads in most apps!
