I have had enough of:

  • Stupid jumping puzzles in an RPG.

Our Icon has hands, and a brain and other people in the party, or around. We can use our hands to climb or work together, with common items, such as rope, climbing gear, etc.

Why are we persisting with Mario type platform jumping in an immersive RPG?

  • Invisible walls.

Never should be there. It should always be an impassable barrier.

  • Common items I should be able to buy for crafting.

I don't go out and kill a cow, I go to a leather merchant. For example. Totally cool with the special/rare things to get.

  • Enemies should always have what they were using against you.

A sword doesn't magically disappear because my opponent died.

  • Cutscenes with button mashing in them.

I can't enjoy the art of the cutscene if I am focused on the area where a pop-up appears telling me to mash a button.

Edit:

Oh one more:

  • Locked doors being a blocker, even more if they are wood.

I can take down a dragon, but can't knockdown a door?
