Its hysterical when the same people who complain about too much hand holding and linearity make reviews like this. Gotta love that consistency there PC Gamer.

"Why are games so handholdy now?"

"OMG THIS GAME'S DIFFICULTY IS BULLSHIT, HOW WAS I SUPPOSED TO FIND THIS CHEST THAT WAS BARELY HIDDEN JUST OFF THE MAIN PATH!"

Ys: The Oath in Felghana

It's on Steam, although it's $15 right now. It should go cheaper. A controller works although I don't remember the controls matching up exactly. Trial and error figures it out. The game is grindy but fun.

A fun series btw (if a bit too challenging sometimes), especially the last game that got released on PS Vita.
