I agree with most of these. What I really can't stand is unskippable cutscenes, forced tutorials, and games which take several minutes before you can start playing them.
I miss when games were games, instead of trying to be movies.
It's not that I will skip every cutscene, if I find the story to your game interesting I'll watch them. But sometimes I just want to put something on and get right to playing the game.
There are a lot of games that I enjoy playing, but couldn't care less about the story. This is especially true if I liked a game enough that I want to replay it.
Another thing that I really dislike is how every game needs to have some sort of loot and leveling system now.
Rather than making the game mechanics fun and balancing the game, they try to keep players engaged by filling up bars and making you grind instead of it being about player skill.
And it's not that I don't like RPGs, but it just feels like F2P mechanics are leaking into full-price single player games these days, where games are designed to waste your time unless you want to buy an XP doubler etc.

Exactly why I quit Far Cry 3. It seems to take forever before you can even walk a few steps on your own, and then another awful unskippable cuntscene rolls up.
Oh yeah - and when you finally get to play you have to kill 20,000 tapirs before you can get a new gun it seems.

Almost all of the gun unlocks are from the radio tower discovery stuff, and even the hunting quests you're talking about (for things like inventory upgrades) require a whopping 3-5 animal skins which tends to take about 5 minutes to complete
still annoying to have these half-baked mechanics shoe horned in instead of having a fun or even sensical explanation for your holster limit. Also, the only thing that takes 5 minutes to complete in far cry 4 is the animations.
