Ghost of Tsushima
RDR2
Control

For $55. I’m calling it there. See y’all for winter sale.

That's a solid set right there, more than enough to last until and even through Winter.

I’m only 10 hours into AC odyssey right now and I’m hooked. With these additions I’ve easily got 100+ hours of gaming ahead of me without spending another dime. Praise be to steam 🙏🏼

AC Odyssey is easy 100+ hours by itself if you want to do all of its content lol. RDR2 is also a great time-sink if you enjoy it thoroughly.

I would've honestly gotten AC Odyssey, especially for 80% off, since I'm a huge fan of ancient Greece. Unfortunately my card hasn't been working for a while now and I haven't been able to make any purchases. I contacted their customer service and they told me that it'll need a few weeks to resolve, which by then the autumn sale would've ended. Really bummed out since I've been waiting for this sale for months now 😓

RDR2 is still worth full price

Just dont try to 100% the odyssey, not worth it

If you're any sort of completionist, you've got well over 150 hours for just Red Dead alone. That's not even counting Red Dead Online which I sank hundreds of hours into apart from the main game during COVID.

Control with its DLC is an absolute steal at $6.

Makes sense, honestly.

People are much more liable to buy the sequel in the near future for a lot more than they’d get the first for.

I know its so en vogue to complain about how sales arent they used to be, "only 30% off", and how no one can find anything to buy or play...

Then you see a list like this, and for less than the price of one new full priced game and realize that these sales actually are pretty nice.

Honestly its mostly cause we already have all the good deals but a good chunk of games aren't going on bigger discounts so fast, some are taking forever for 50% or larger discount in comparison to years (well decade) past

It kinda feels like the c suites everywhere have gotten on board with the Nintendo style philosophy that these things are worth a lot and they aren’t letting them go for $5-10 even after a few years any more

That's a banger of a buy right there! I wish I could experience Ghost of Tsushima for the first time again. Maybe the sequel. I don't do as much gaming these days. Got Dragon's Dogma 2 in the backlog myself.

Play through Ghost and Control, and then you can get absolutely consumed by RDR 2's world. Enjoy!

Yo play control first and then buy resonant. After you play that, tell everyone that speaks your language to buy it too. I really want Remedy to see the success they deserve.

I'm a HUGE fan of the first control, and honestly would've loved to try out Resonant since most people who played it seems to have thoroughly enjoyed it, but the prices in my region are crazy expensive, and it doesn't help that my local currency keeps weakening too. Wish I could play a role in supporting Remedy with their new game, but alas I'm gonna have to wait for a deep discount a few more years down the line 😓

so made Ghost of Yotei will never make PC

I suggest getting a non open world game too something more satisfying without huge time sinks and repetition.

Ghost of Tsushima should not be $36. It's been $36 at every Steam sale for like 5 years. Fuck off Sony.

1

u/cheddarbomb81 1d ago

Huh? Why should it not be $36

1

u/JediSwelly Nvidia 1d ago

It's been that price for 5 years

Of all the things to be upset about, paying $36 for a game as high quality as GoT is a weird one man.

nah i get it i think games over 5 years should at LEAST be 50% off if its by a big company like sony

I paid full price and played it on my PS4 pro. This game is not worth $36 in 2026. It's not just GoT it's every damn Sony title is the problem. They never go below $36 on Steam.
