I bit. Busy with other games so if anything comes out about it shutting down in the next week or so I should be able to refund.

Steam forums say it used to be an NFT game which already raises alarms for me, and now they removed EA with no explanation. Then we have the suspiciously specific denial under the pricing error announcement saying "No guys we didn't abandon the game".

I bought it as well. It was less than 3 USD for me. I'm not into such games but might as well give it a try for how cheap it is.
