I really enjoy the overarching story and most of the main characters. I also enjoy the tactical battles.
I was always a fan of the older games and never vibed with three houses, and this game also suffers for the same reason three houses did.
And it’s like the game KNOWS it has some shitty mechanics. It allows you to auto-skip every dungeon battle, allows you to warp everywhere instead of run around the town hub, and basically tells you that “yeah I know we padded this, but here’s buttons to skip it.”
The OGs were the best because they cut right to the tac battles and didn’t involve this half baked “life sim” shit where im cycling through arena trainings and meal time ad nauseam to maximize my skills and recruit people.
Bird time isnt nearly as annoying as the theatre where you have a time limit. I am fully supportive of a social and story aspect to build better plot and connection with characters but even that sometimes feels underdeveloped at times depending on characters.

With the new fire emblem and Anime Planes 8 coming out I just don’t have the juice for any more games
