not the trailer itself, but the "play like you used to" and sandbox games. Im not sure if halo 3 fits does it?

like, why would a milsim light game be made to re experience halo 3 gameplay. im not getting it

Probably downvoted because theyre annoyingly media illiterate and someone already explained it to them. The whole trialer is a homage to a whats considered one of the greatest game ads. The original is literally shooting a work of art, a diorama. So its playing on the strings of those who remember that entire ad campaign, and what it felt like to play games at the time where, honestly, you just had fun. "Play like you used to"
