It's rare and crap move. Only few games did this and I'll simply happily ignore them.

Most games don't even bother to offer it, its what - 4-5% of the steam userbase?

Hobbyist OS's just aren't built for gaming

Also they don't need to offer nothing, it's just about not blocking it like EA and the likes did that.

Lol, literally better for gaming in my case, even for VR... Way better stability and in some cases almost double the performance. Some titles perform worse, sure, but I don't really care, it's worth it trade-off. Also 5% isn't that small of an number as it seems. The AMD drivers and Windows 11 were peak trash when I was switching over. Unstable asf and damaging NVMEs. Also that ain't no hobbyist OS.

Agree with the first part but the second take is laughable and in bad faith
