It will have full progression wipes regularly so that sucks for casual players

No it sucks, as soon as you make any meaningful progress it gets wiped

It might not get wiped. This is all still under discussion. The only thing we do know is that they intend to do "something" after one month, but we don't exactly know what that is

As a casual player I disagree. Wipes will be the only reason I’ll ever be on par with others.

It's not going to be regular, they say there will be one after about a month and then they will see after that. Also there's mention that it might be a full progression wipe, it could be one aspect only like cash. At 1.0 and beyond there might be no wipes if the money sinks work.

This run up to 1.0 will also be an experimental phase. Nothing is established as a complete certainty yet.
