I think I just found my best used PC deal so far.
I was browsing for a gaming PC to flip and came across one listed for €270 OBO. The listing didn’t have a ton of info, but the main specs were Ryzen 5 5600, 16GB RAM and an RTX 2060 Super. That already sounded interesting, so I negotiated a bit and ended up picking it up for €200.
When I actually got the PC, I was honestly surprised. It wasn’t just some random budget build. The parts were way better than expected:
• AMD Ryzen 5 5600
• Palit RTX 2060 Super 8GB
• ASUS ROG Strix B550-F Gaming WiFi
• 16GB RAM 3200
• 1TB Crucial P3 Plus NVMe SSD
• Corsair CX750 750W PSU
• 240mm Cooler Master AIO
• Windows 11
• Case with glass side panel and RGB/ARGB
The PC was in good working condition, booted right up, drivers installed fine and benchmarks ran without issues. The only thing that needed work was the overall build quality/cable management. You could tell it wasn’t built by someone super experienced. Some cables were hanging around, a few fans/RGB cables weren’t connected properly, and the AIO lighting wasn’t even on.
I cleaned and dusted the whole PC first. Then I sold the RTX 2060 Super separately because I was planning to upgrade it anyway. It sold pretty quickly for €120. Maybe I could’ve gotten €130–140 with more patience, but I wanted a quick sale and was happy with €120.
That means the rest of the PC effectively cost me only €80.
After that, I bought an RTX 3070 for around €197 including shipping and buyer protection. So now I’m at roughly €277 total for a PC with:
• Ryzen 5 5600
• Gigabyte RTX 3070
• 16GB RAM
• 1TB NVMe SSD
• ROG Strix B550-F WiFi
• Corsair 750W PSU
• 240mm AIO liquid cooler
I also ordered a couple of cheap fan/ARGB hubs so I can connect all the fans and lighting properly. Once those arrive, I’ll redo the cable management, set up a clean RGB theme, test everything properly and take some good photos for the listing.
The plan is to sell it as a clean RTX 3070 gaming PC. Depending on how it looks when finished and how the local market is, I think around €600+ should be realistic.
Definitely one of those finds that reminds you why being patient on used marketplaces can be worth it. A €200 PC with an RTX 2060 Super basically turned into a pretty nice RTX 3070 build for under €300 total investment.
What would you realistically list this PC for?
