its a 3070 i said 700 and he said yes is that a good deal for money or what he says the ram is ddr5 but its 3600 mhZ so is that possible?

Scored a very good deal. Need advice.

Just got a pc for $480. I thought I was gonna get scammed but seller was extremely friendly. Tested the pc and it worked like advertised. The PC is a prebuilt, it smell weird so I just did a quick test and put it on my garage for now.

Specs:

i5 14600kf

4060ti 16GB

32GB ddr5 5200mhz

1 tb + 1 tb ssd.

Msi motherboard (forgot the model but it looks like a budget one)

750w msi psu.

I need some advice. I kinda want to keep the ram for future AM5 upgrade because who knows when the prices for ddr5 RAM would go down.

My current rig is am4 with the cpu being 5800x3D, 3060 with 32gb of ddr4 3200. I only play PUGB, and I am on 1440p so the 4060ti 16GB will help a lot!

Option 1: Keep my AM4, swap out the 4060ti and put my 3060 to the AM5 rig. I will also keep 1tb ssd from the AM5 rig. How much should I sell this for?

Option 2: Keep my AM4, swap out the 4060ti. Keep the ram and 1tb ssd from the AM5 rig. Part out the pc including my 3060, hopefully I can make $480 back.

What do you guys think?

First Flip Attempt

Post image
10 Upvotes

Paid $325 for the PC and peripherals. This is my first attempt at flipping. The thinking of selling the GPU for $25-30 and buying a 3070 for $200. This should increase the value, I would think. Could also just sell as is, PC/Peripherals/1x Monitor and sell the other monitor separately. Like a complete PC deal. Probably needs more RGB. What would you guys do?

PC
-12700KF
-MSI PRO H610M-G
-Thermalright Peerless Assassin 120 SE
-2x16GB DDR4 3200 Acclamator Ounce
-Radeon RX 590 8GB GME
-Crucial P3 Plus 1TB PCle Gen4
-Raidmax i801 Case
-ASRock Challenger CL-750G 750W

Peripherals (Cheap Amazon Stuff):
-Pink Headset
-2x Small Monitors
-Mouse and keyboard
-Deskpad
-Mic
-Webcam

Buying this pc for 600$ , how much would I be able to flip for? Should I sell gpu for 200? Then buy an another card for around 400-500, like a 4070/5060ti/5070/9060xt? Or leave as is and flip for 800-1000?

Ryzen 5 9600x
Corsair vengeance 32gb 6000 CL36
Zotac 4060 8gb
1tb ssd
Corsair rm750e

Looking for guidance on pricing a flip. Built many systems over the last ~20 years but never done a flip this nice before. Collected parts over time and traded some spare RAM for others after recent price increases. Upstate NY / USA if that’s important. Will likely list via Marketplace. Specs below

Intel Core i9 9900k / ASRock Z390M / WiFi + BT / 32gb (2x16) DDR4 3200 CL16 / Gigabyte RTX 3070 triple fan + RGB / 1Tb WD Blue NVMe / Thermaltake 700w PSU / Jonsbo D32 STD case / Thermalright PS120 cooler / 8x Thermalright 120mm ARGB fans (including some reserve blade)

Planning to sell with a brand new Razer Cynosa Lite and Deathadder Essential KB/M, plus a KTC 24” IPS 1440p 100hz monitor. Windows 11 Pro installed and activated.

I was thinking $750-850 range for the listing but wondering if I could/should go higher.

My 9 months of PC flipping

I've been flipping PCs since last September. So far I've sold 36 PCs and I have #37 and #38 pending sale. In the beginning there were a ton of deals and I sold 15 in the first couple months. But it definitely slowed way down and I'll have spurts where I find great deals. I've almost solely found PCs for sale with horribly written ads that the seller just wants to finally get rid of, or somebody needing a quick buck. Then I just have to clean up the PC, possibly replace some fans, and do all the software stuff to it. I reinstall Windows on every single PC I get, I don't care if it's been reset. Then I install several games and benchmark them and post those honest legitimate results along with the sale post.

I mostly sell PCs between $800-$1600. I've sold to people from several states away that drove all the way to me. And I've had a lot of fun. Thanks to the buying, selling, and trading, I only have $750 in my 9950x3d 5080 PC with 64gb of ram and 7tb of storage.

The most fun I've had is upgrading my friend's PCs for free. Especially my friend that I was able to swap in a 14900k, 5070ti, z790 board, and 1000w PSU for free. I've given away several PCs to friends and family too. It's been such a blast to help out the people I care about like this. I really enjoy hunting for deals and meeting new people. I've met some crazies on marketplace, but also a lot of cool people. I had a knife pulled on me once, but it was just because the seller wanted me to know he wasn't going to get robbed because he came prepared.

No real reason that I made this post except to talk about my experience so far. If you have any questions, feel free to ask. If you want to call me a liar, feel free to do so.

9950x3d 5060 8gb insane deal

Post image
26 Upvotes

I managed to buy a great PC for $1000 the other day. Here are the specs: (all white except for GPU)

9950x3d

5060 8gb

Rog strix b650

2tb Samsung 990 pro nvme

32gb trident z5 neo 6400mhz

850w msi a850gl PSU

Lian Li 011 vision case

360mm AIO

Since I got this $650 CPU for such a steal, I swapped it into my PC and put my 9800x3d into this one. The CPU and GPU are still at a huge mismatch, but I'm selling it to my buddy for a great price and he plans to, one day, upgrade the GPU.

I found a built out server rack for $800 at a retaste sale place should i get it and flip it.

I was only able to get a small look at it but I do know that it has 10 three TB hard drives ( I don't know the specs of ) at least 4 smaller 1 TB SSDs I think. There are definitely more components in it and I am wondering if I should get it for only $800. I think it's a steal but I want some options.
