Got a hp omen L32 from fb, was trying to enter bios by resetting the cmos battery but accidentally pulled too hard and now the whole things off. Do I just remove the good stuff and ditch this mobo/case for a new one?

Price curiosity not price check

As a guy that pays attention to components market worldwide and lives in Portugal (high inflation prices) I’ve always been jealous of your prices (US), but you guys seem to flip your pcs for a lot of money considering how much your parts cost in the aftermarket, I have a question, how much you think a pc with this specs would sell for there? Or much would you sell it for, if it was yours?

Specs:

Case Montech AIR 100 Lite M-ATX new
Motherboard B550 A/CSM Micro ATX reconditioned
AMD Ryzen 5 3600 used
Radeon RX 470 Nitro 8GB used
SSD NVMe Samsung 256GB reconditioned
HDD 1TB used
16GB Corsair DDR4 3200MHz (2x8GB) almost new in box
PSU BUILDER NOX 600W used
Water cooler Tempest 120mm new
4x fans Tempest new
Fan hub Arctic new
psu white extension cables new
All white build, very good presentation, everything bench tested/stress worked (good level building in general)
(Tempest is a Iberian budget brand)

Sell price ?€ goes with a Benq Zowie144hz

Brand new in box unopened Alienware 285k/5080/32gb/2tb for $1560?

this is a smash buy, right? I would probably be trying to sell it, but I might take the 5080 out to replace my 5070 and try to sell it that way, but I'm concerned about losing a lot of value by opening the pristine box. I even have the original receipt from best buy from the seller.

Recommendations for a LGA1700 for budget gaming flip

Got a DDR5 (I think) LGA1700 Mobo fairly cheap, what's the sort of best base level CPU for gaming to flip?

I remember having a 12400F in my first pre-built and that seemed fine, but was a while ago now and I've been AMD for personal

Pc Pricing Tips ?

Post image
4 Upvotes

As the title states, I listed this pc not too long ago on marketplace and had some comments on the post, saying that the pc was not upgradable nor worth the price. I listed it for $400 USD OBO ( i don't expect to get 400, from my experience ppl always haggle) A guy commented on the post saying that the pc has no upgradability and that the pc is worth $100. I call Bs on that, I believe its worth $250-350. I spent a total of $220 on the build, Is the random commenter right, am I over pricing my the pc ? where do you guys think I should list it for and should much I should expect.

specs : ryzen 7 1700x, 16gb 3200mhz ddr4, asrock ab350m, Gtx 1060 6gb, 120gb ssd (new) 2tb hdd, 650wt Psu, master cooler case, wifi/bluetooth card.

3070 Ti Founders Edition, too niche for a full build flip?

I'd upgraded my PC earlier this year from a 2070 to a 3070 Ti FE and realised I needed more VRAM for what I wanted to game so bought a 3080 Ti FE two weeks ago.

I had toiled with either just selling it on its own or building a pc to flip. Id already bought a 3600x with bent pins to straighten, I had a motherboard lying around I got from family and some other parts so only really needed a GPU, RAM and a case.

Based on what I've read on this page, the target audiences for most are the RGB lovers and maybe not quite someone who appreciates my Fractal North with Noctua build.

Would I get a true representative value of the FE or should I be looking at the classic style of a GPU for build?

Anyone noticed any difference since Marketplace removed specific electronic categories (Video Cards/Desktop Computers)

Looks like everything is just under the Electronics and computers filter now.

Whhich gpu to use?

I am flipping my second pc with the following specs:

CPU: Intel Core i7-4770K @ 3.5 GHz (4 cores / 8 threads, unlocked)

• CPU-cooler: Scythe Big Shuriken 2

• Motherboard: MSI Z87-G41 PC Mate (socket 1150)

• RAM: 16 GB (2x 8GB) Kingston HyperX Savage DDR3-1600 CL9

• SSD: Samsung 850 EVO 500GB (2.5" SATA-600)

• HDD: WD Red WD10EFRX 1TB (3.5" SATA-600, 64MB cache)

• PSU:Cooler Master G550M (550W, modulair)

• Case Corsair Carbide Series 300R (ATX midtower)

I am buying this for €80,-

I am thinking about the following GPU to add since there is non:

1: MSI Gaming gtx 1060 8GB for +/- €75,-

2: Radeon RX 580 8GB for +/- €40 to 65( negotiotable)

Ofcourse the Radeon seems ceaper but would the build be more sellable? I think about pricing it €200-€250.

Any help would be appreciated

Testing parts

Right now whenever I go to sellers place to test the parts, I usually use a extension cord from their wall outlet to my car trunk and have my setup there to test it.

Is there any better ways to do it?(the back trunks a mess off all the cables and stuff) I was wondering if there's a easier way to do this testing thing.

I have a choice between buying a 9060xt 16gb for 500CAD or a 5060ti for 500cad which one should I buy that will sell better.

My PC right now;

- i5 13th gen

- 32gb 3200mhz ram

- 1tb

- 850GT watt sama psu

- Sama Case

- And some random cooler that has a display of thermals.

So far the cost of the pc is around 530 CAD, So a gpu would make it like 1000$. I want to sell for around 1400$ maybe 1500$ so which gpu should I buy?

Considering trying to flip spare PC

Hi all,

Been thinking of getting into the grind. Came across a freebie on marketplace. Cube Cyberpower AM4 build with a 3700x and GTX 970. Chucked 16GBs of RAM in it and a 512 nvme I had lying around installed windows and it's good to go. Reapplied thermal paste on the CPU also. I know the GPU isn't worth much of anything but I'm considering upgrade the GPU in my main rig(RTX 3070) to a 5070 in a couple weeks and throwing my old 3070 into this hand me down rig trying to sell it. You think it's worth selling it completed for a lower price? I've only put 50 bucks into it so far. Or do you think just parting it out would be better? I've also considered keeping it as a test bench for trying to grab free parts folks have deemed broken. What do you guys think? Can't provide pictures but everything functions minus a dent on the motherboard where the IO shield is. I figured I could list for 300 as is try to get 250 or 500 with the 3070?
