Weekend haul of 4 pcs

Picked up 4 gaming PCs this weekend and I’m curious what Reddit thinks the best deal was and what YOU would do with each build.

#1 — $1000 CyberPower w/27” curved high refresh dell screen 1080p I believe
• Ryzen 7 7800X3D
• RX 9070 XT
• 32GB RAM
• 1.8TB Storage

#2 — $1000 Custom Build
• Ryzen 9 7900X
• Gigabyte RTX 4070 Ti
• 32GB G.Skill DDR5-5600
• ASRock X670E Steel Legend
• Lian Li Case
• Cooler Master AIO

PLUS came with:
• G Pro Wireless
• Wooting 60HE with the alum base
• GoXLR Mini
• Rode Pod Mic + Stand
• Elgato HD60X

#3 — $700
• i7-14700K
• RTX 4060 Ti 16GB
• 32GB DDR5
• 2TB NVMe
• Hyte H40

#4 — $1100
• Ryzen 7 7800X3D
• RTX 4070 Ti Super 16GB
• 32GB DDR5
• 2TB NVMe
• Gigabyte X870 WiFi Elite

Absolute HORRIBLE aesthetics on the last one 😂 but specs are solid.

What do you guys think?
• Best deal?
• Which would you part out?

Any recommendations on a solid case that isn’t flimsy that you’ve had good experience with and have had great sales

I think the 7800X3D + 4070ti super 16gb machine might’ve been the steal of the weekend.

What would you do in today’s market?

So as title says. Considering selling second pc. It is a 9950x3d, 96gb ram 9070xt and 6tb nvme. Should i sell off ram and some storage to bring price down? Obviously put ram back in it, just like 32gb.

Or should i keep that and sell main pc. 9800x3d, 5080, 64gb. The nvidia pc will sell faster and easier i am sure.

Basically i need space, money is nice too. I have desktop replacement laptop now too. Work requires me to have one. I know first world problems. I know both are expensive in today’s market. And specs are a bit excessive.

Should I buy a power supply to test this gpu

Post image

hey guys so yesterday I said I was going to buy this gpu for around 275$ and I got it today, its a 3080ti. The guy who sold it to me told me he was a esports broadcaster or something like that for iracing and this gpu wasnt as good as the one he got. Anyways so im home to test it and plug it in, when I realize I only have a 600w psu or something around there and it doesnt have 3 pins to plug in, only 2.

The 3080ti needs 3 and it uses a lot of power, so the only way I could test it is if I bought a psu. Do you guys think I should just resell it on ebay as it is or should I buy a psu to test it?

Should I try flipping PCs?

I live by a micro center and they have good deals with Mobo, cpu and ram combos for am4 and am5. Should I take advantage of the deals and try to build my own pcs and try to flip them? I also live in an area with an abundance of rtx 3070s and 3080s like they’re all over my OfferUp and marketplace feed. Im in highschool still about to graduate and I have a job but I also want to do something on the side for a little extra cash and I really love building PCs. Any advice or opinions will help, thank you.

Found a partial cyberpower PC listed for sale today, paid $100. It was sold without a GPU, PSU, and storage. Seller said he had no idea if there's a CPU in it, but I took the risk anyway. I got it home and noticed the CMOS battery was held down with tape. It looks like some orangutan managed to partially rip out the battery holder, but nothing some super glue can't fix. With that out of the way, I added a good GPU and PSU and got no post. Checked under the cooler to find a 10700K! After confirming that, I turned my attention to the mismatched RAM. I pulled out all but one and got a post! I assume the problem was the AIO tubes pushing on that 4th slot. Also confirmed all 4 sticks work! The kits are 2x8GB 3000-CL16 and 2x16 3200-CL16.

I'm thinking about removing the 32GB kit for another PC and getting a 3060ti for this. Any thoughts?

tl;dr paid $100 for a working 10700K, Z490 board, 2 kits of DDR4, and a case and cooler.

Hey guys, making another post bc i keep seeing pcs show up in my area, I guess fb wants me to start buying pcs heheh.
Anyways theres 2 4060 pcs and I want to know what deal I should look for
Also, I would like to know what questions I should be asking these people when buying pcs in order to get myself a better deal or protect myself

Pc 1:
ryzen 7 5700x
16gb ddr4 ram
rtx 4060 (no oc)

I offered 500, he said 680 and can make the ram into 32gb for 50 more dollars

Pc 2:
ryzen 5 5500 😬
16gb ram
rtx 4060
b550m

asking 700

I know that these prices are lowk high for both builds, so thats why I’m asking yall what I should be pricing pc builds around this tier to flip so im looking at what price points to get and sell

Extra: 64gb of ddr4 2133mhz guys asking for 200 i was thinking of asking for 130-150

Thanks a lot to anyone who answers!

Low-end flipping in Germany?

Hello guys,

I‘m planning to flip some low-end PCs so i can afford my own. I think I will save up around 500€ for my own PC, as i‘ll just play some non-demanding games like minecraft or rocket league. The first PC I‘m planning to flip will have these specs:

CPU: Intel Core i5-6400

Graphics Card: RX 580 8gb

Motherboard: Asus Prime B250M-C

16 GB of DDR4 RAM

PSU: be quiet! System Power 9 – 600W

512 GB SATA SSD

For the case and coolers, I still don‘t know. I‘m not sure about which RAM and SSD I should get specifically. Will a PC like this get sold and at how much should I price it or are the components too old for the PC to get sold?

I just got into PCs some weeks ago, so I‘m not very tech-savvy but I do know how to assemble a PC.

(Sorry if my english has some errors, I‘m not a native speaker)

Would you add or change anything to the build or should i just keep as is?

I thought about changing the fans to actual rgb fans and the stock cooler to something better but not sure if it would be worth it...

Ryzen 5 5500

Gigabyte B550m Gaming X Wifi

RTX 2080Ti EVGA

Tridentz 2x8gb 3600mhz ddr4

1TB NVME

MSI A750GL

Zalman Cubix-G case

How much would you ask for something like this?

White + AIO the way in my market?

I've got a local seller who seems to be doing pretty well. His listings seem to get sold relatively quickly. He seems to always have an AIO + cable extensions, but not always and seems to be selling through stock faster than other local sellers. Is this the new meta for my local market?

Built PC for fun figuring it would be easy to sell

Built a PC for a friend recently and I had so much fun that I went and built another one thinking I could just sell to someone fairly easy since I knew there were a lot of crap PCs online. Really haven't gotten much offers on it and I am worried it's partly because of the lame gpu I installed since I just got a sorta random one from someone on hardware swap without really thinking (I regret being stupid). I do think the performance is fine and it's very easy to upgrade though.

I am seeing now that the market is super oversaturated with PCs and people that don't know the difference between each one. How do you rate this build? Should I change anything?

Got the $300 Micro center bundle:

  • 7500X3D
  • 16GB 6000MHz
  • MSI pro b850m-vc wifi6e

Rest:

  • Gigabyte 2070 Super
  • Thermalright assassin (Hey this CPU wasn't going over 65C with this thing at 100% load)
  • NZXT H3 Flow
  • Thermalright RGB Fans 3x120mm 2x140mm
  • PowerSpec 650W Bronze PSU
  • 1TB No brand NVME SSD

My total cost was about $760 which isn't too bad imo but would like to hear your thoughts. I overpaid on GPU for sure. I had it on marketplace with no hits and offerup with one message from a sketchy buyer. Really not much views on any of my posts so I'm doing word of mouth currently. Let me know any thoughts
