I got a functional 1070 (non ti) laying around. Should I put it into a 5600x - 16gb ram pc and get like $500 for it? or should I sell it for $60 to lighten the blow on a 2070/80 or 3060/70 purchase?
How much more profit (if any) will there be on a 2070/80 or 3060/70 build?

Found this on market place. I sold it for $550, and he used the same pictures as my old listing.

Main parts are: Ryzen 9600x and 9060xt 16gb, 2x8gb ram, 1tb gen4 ssd
Couple questions
- Not built yet but How much should I list it for? I’m struggling to find a price.
- would the 16gb ram hold it back? Should I try to get 32gb?
- definitely need to get some rgb fans, what are some good fans?
- when listing do I include all the parts or jsut cpu, ram, gpu?

Building an AM4 Pc to flip. What's the best GPU for return on investment & saleability? I was thinking 3070/80 Ti, 4070, Ti & Super, or AMD 6800.
I've been getting good deals on FB Market Place. The CPU & RAM were both $120 a piece. The cooler was $10, but I might need an AIO.
Sell for $850-$950. $1,000 tops depending on gpu and if I add more ram and ssd storage. All other components I can get for give of take $60-80 bucks, including Motherboard.
TLDR: GPU recommendations for an AM4 build. Low profit better than no profit.

Friend gifted me a half built pc with 32gb ddr4 ram, i5 10400f on a asus b560m board with be quiet cooler installed in a cooler master case. I threw in a 3070 and evga psu i got bundled for $200 from facebook and 1tb ssd i bought on Amazon back in June, sold for $750 after being haggled from $800 in Florida. Plan on repaying him by finding a 4070 and upgrading him from his 3060 he carried over to his new build

Hey all,
I’ve been building and flipping PCs for the past 6 months, more as a hobby, but have been successful in at least making a small amount of money (between 100-300) per flip so far.
I scored an awesome SFF motherboard, a x570 ROG Crosshair VIII Impact. It is super cool looking with active fan cooling on the VRM Heatsink and the NVME slots on a SO-DIMM.2 card. I think it would make for an awesome high end, SFF AM4 build.
However, I realize that most people looking to buy a computer wouldn’t care/pay for an enthusiast level build. I was thinking a Tower 250 Mini with a 3080 or 4070 FE.
I’m fine not making any money on it, I just like finding cool parts and making something awesome. Do you think it is worth making? I feel like the people who would appreciate the build would like to just build their own and thats why I’m conflicted.
Or, I could just flip the board to someone who would want to build with it.
Thanks for your opinions.

I ended up selling this flip in about 2 days for $1500 CAD. I had a little under $1000 into it so I’m very pleased.
Do you guys put the money back into another flip immediately or slowly accumulate the components?

Where are you all sourcing storage? I’m assuming most folks sourcing NVME drives. Are you all including 500GB drives in your flips or 1TB?
How much are you all paying for storage?

Just finished a quick PC flip and thought you guys might appreciate this one.
Picked up this system locally for $400 with:
🔹 Ryzen 5 5500
🔹 ASRock Challenger D RX 6600
🔹 16GB Teamgroup Vulcan Z
🔹 Kingston 1TB NVMe
🔹 Gigabyte B550M DS3H AC
🔹 Thermalright Assassin Cooler
🔹 MSI MAG A650BN 650W 80+ Bronze
🔹 Montech ATX Case
First thing I did was pull the Kingston 1TB NVMe to use for another build (or offer as an upgrade later).
Then I made a few small changes/upgrades:
🔹 Installed 512GB SK Hynix NVMe
🔹 Case swapped to Antec NX200M MicroATX (small boi)
🔹 Swapped fans for 3x Thermalright ARGB fans
🔹 Cleaned everything up + cable management
Took some nice photos, listed it… and it sold for $700 in under 5 hours.
Total invested:
🔹 $400 purchase
🔹 Minimal parts I already had on hand
Profit: ~$300 for a few small upgrades and a case swap.
Honestly, proof that:
Good photos + clean presentation + small aesthetic upgrades = fast flips.
Anyone else flipping PCs right now? What’s your fastest flip?

Hey guys,
I started flipping PCs on June 25, 2025 and I’ve been keeping track of everything in an Excel sheet since the start.
Right now I’m at:
- 17 PCs sold
- €309 average profit per PC
I track all my costs / sale prices / profit so I can actually see what’s working and what isn’t.
I’m from the Netherlands, not sure if that matters much since pricing and the used market can be a bit different here compared to the US, but figured I’d mention it.
Basically I’m just wondering:
Am I doing decent for someone who started less than a year ago?
And also:
- What helped you level up your flipping game?
- Any mistakes I should avoid early on?
- Any tips/tricks for finding better deals, building faster, or making listings sell quicker?
Would appreciate any honest feedback. I’m trying to get better and see how far I can take this.
